About Samantha ​

Samantha Dutton-Jones is a Marketing Communications Specialist and freelance Public Relations Consultant. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Samantha attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) for a Diploma in Public Relations. To further her education, Samantha pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Communications and a minor in International Studies from Simon Fraser University (SFU).

Shortly after graduating from KPU, Samantha started her entrepreneurial career by freelancing public relations and communications projects. With encouragement from friends and family, Samantha created AlnilamPR – a Public Relations boutique inspired by the middle star of Orion’s belt, Alnilam. Halfway through her Bachelor of Arts degree, SFU accepted Samantha into the exchange program at the university. While studying at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England, Samantha learned a variety of trans-Atlantic skills that would transfer into the success of her career.
In her free time, Samantha volunteers her videography skills for a variety of organizations such as C3 NoLimits and Faces of Mental Illness. She also enjoys graphic design, photography, and keeping up with the latest trends on social media.
